William Soukoreff
Hello! I am a graduate student at York University in the department of Computer Science. I do research in Human-Computer Interaction at York's HCI lab. My research interests mostly concern low-level human interfacing problems such as Fitts' Law, text entry, and the evaluation of new input devices. My supervisor is Dr. Scott MacKenzie.
My non-academic webpage is here.

The paper above makes the argument that language models used for text input research should be based on data captured during the text input task. To make this argument, we wrote the KeyCapture software - three programs that record every keystroke and mouse action made by somebody using a computer with the windows operating system. These programs allow researchers to observe what text users enter, and how the text was entered.
